A must-visit for a visit in Morristown. This park connects with the Patriot's Path and Jockey Hollow and has plenty to offer. Baseball fields, hiking/mountain biking trails, a swimming pond and more. I would highly recommend the yellow trail to both trail runners and mountain bikers alike. However, be aware that some of the single track has some blind spots and you should be wary when walking. All of the bikers I have come across have been polite and exercise the correct right of way policies (yield to hikers). Occasionally there are races held here which are super fun. It is a great way to drive less than a mile to immerse yourself in green (or white) when trying to escape the bustle of the downtown.

We went for the swimming... While NOT a good choice for swimming AT ALL (biting horse flies on the beach and fish so not afraid of the people that they nibble on your legs!!).. I'm sure this is a wonderful place for hiking and picnics (as long as the flies don't like what you packed to eat!)

Great park, plenty of parking, short or long trails depending on your desired activity level. Most of them have some grades to them, a bit of uphill or downhill, but nothing too difficult. The trails are marked, but slightly more clearer marking would be great. There's a small lake as well with a beach area that didn't seem too crowded during our visit, but the trails are what we focused on, and they were absolutely empty. Very peaceful.

The most beautiful park I have seen. They had a surprise party for us there. Clean you feel so close to nature. Stunning clean park.

Nice park but not for my purpose. We came here to ride bikes after seeing all of the trails. The problem is it was my husband and I were with three kids. Different trails but either were steep rough terrain hills or skinny flat paths with poison on both sides. Not to mention tree roots and rocks jutting out of the dirt. So if you are coming for bike riding with kids you may want to look elsewhere.
